120 Volts AC 12V DC Power Supply (supplied) All DROP Products have a 9V battery backup solution for power loss. If you ever lose electricity to your home, not only will your Home Chemical Reduction Filter continue to filter your water, your Leak Detector system will still respond to leaks in your home.
You decide how you would like DROP to communicate with you notifications can be set up as emails, texts, or even push messages. Have a kid that tends to leave the water on? DROP can be configured to send you notifications when there is continuous water flow and if you want even to shut off the water after a period of time that you select.
DROP Leak Detectors are unique devices capable of detecting even the smallest water drops wherever they are placed. When paired with DROP Water Softeners and Water Filters, not only will you be notified of potential leaks, DROP will automatically shut off your water. Up to 32 leak detectors can be paired to your DROP Water System keeping you safe from water damage. The DROP Home Chemical Reduction Filter comes with a bundle option of 2 Leak Detectors and the DROP Hub.

Treatment bypass and manual water shutoff allow you to bypass the system in the event of failure, making sure you maintain water throughout your home.
Most municipalities add chlorine or chloramine to the water supply to control bacteria like swimming pools. The Home Chemical Reduction Filter can be configured with specific filters to reduce these chemicals along with their taste, odor, and harmful effects.
Comes with detailed instructions, a manual bypass, drain line, and 1” MNPT connector (various connectors available). You will need the necessary plumbing parts to connect the 1” MNPT connection from the water softener to your existing plumbing, access to 120V electrical outlet, and a drain. See installation manual for details.
Unique to the Home Chemical Reduction Filter is the Media Expiration Notification which will inform you when the media in the filter needs to be replaced.
Periodic Backwashing rinses physical contaminants such as sediment down the drain and re-orients the media which gets rid of any channels that may have developed down through the media bed. This makes the media more effective than non-backwashing filters.
Using the DROP app you can bypass treatment at any time, so you can avoid wasting treated water on tasks such as watering the lawn.
